Hi, I am Dr. Kimmy. I am a Pediatric Hospitalist, wife, and mom of 2 young children. While working at an academic medical center and juggling all of my responsibilities, I went on to make $283,052 while working full-time. On Juneteenth of 2022 I left my job to become full-time in my coaching business. The truth is, after making my first $5K I “quit” my job in June of 2020, which was 2 years before I actually left. I was really burnt out in medicine right after training. I ended up taking a two-month break and sitting in my house, looking at the computer every day, searching through Facebook groups, reading a lot of blogs, doing a lot of research, listening to a lot of podcasts, trying to find ways that I would be valuable and not a cog in the wheel of medicine, not just a warm body in a white coat.

When I decided to start physician coaching, I immediately thought, “Oh yeah, this is going to be so valuable.” And then right after that good idea, the voice in my head that brings in the doubt and the fear would take over.
Â
Working with Dr. Kimmy, I have learned how to turn the dial down on that voice and be successful. I now teach really good concepts of negotiation that help other doctors get out of the position that I was in.
